Barley Receipts
Babylonian clay tablets have a fascinating record.
Planetary positions are written next to barley prices.
Barley prices, weather, planetary positions — on the same clay tablet.
They wrote planets on receipts 'ㅅ'
600 Years of Records
Babylonians recorded the sky every single day for about 600 years.
Planetary positions, weather, commodity prices, historical events.
Going Deeper
The history of astrology shows a fascinating pattern.
Sumer — barley harvests, weather, floods. They read nature.
Babylonia — king's fate, wars. They read nations.
Ancient Greece — individual birth charts. They started reading individuals.
Vedic — karma, past lives, soul. They read the soul.
Barley → King → Individual → Soul.

Cuneiform and Astrology
Sumerian cuneiform has something fascinating.
For example, combining "head" with "mouth" makes "to drink."
But is it "to drink"? Could it be "to eat"? Could "head + mouth" be "face + mouth" instead?
One symbol can have multiple meanings.
Couldn't astrology be the same? Saturn doesn't have just one interpretation..?
Astrology came from cuneiform. Could they be the same system 'ㅅ'?
The Mystery of Sumerian Pictographs
Early Sumerian pictographs have something strange.
Star = ✳ radial pattern. This makes sense.
But Sun = ◇ diamond. Why is the sun a diamond 'ㅅ'? Is it only a diamond to my eyes ㅇ0ㅇ?
Moon = curves inside a diamond..
Man = triangle + hash marks.. man =ㅅ=...?
It's natural to draw things as they look.
Did Sumerians see things differently from us? Or were they just too lazy to draw properly =ㅅ=...
Was it the tools? Early Sumerian pictographs were drawn on clay with pointed tools. They actually drew stars in 8-directional radial patterns. More complex than a diamond. Couldn't they have just drawn a triangle for star...'ㅅ' 8 directions.. hmm =ㅅ=...
And they drew stars and sun differently, but sun and moon evolved from the same template.
Why 'ㅅ'?
Things That Change
I thought about something here.
Barley — changes. Weather — changes. A king's fate — changes. Humans — change. Emotions — change.
All things that change.
And celestial bodies — keep moving. Changing.
The ancients read change with change 'ㅅ'
It's just fascinating. Truly fascinating 'ㅅ'
